Comment:

 I've already [https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40987 reported this to the
 developers] and they said they've fixed it for the next release, but I'm
 not sure when that will be. If it takes awhile, I could try to find out
 how they fixed it upstream and backport the fix to MacPorts.
