 That change works if I set configure.compiler, but not if I use the
 blacklist:

 # This doesn't pull in the dependency on llvm-gcc42
 compiler.blacklist  clang

 # This pulls in the dependency
 configure.compiler  macports-llvm-gcc-4.2
