 I was the maintainer of mdk. As I posted in ticket #32345 I will not
 maintain the port anymore.

 However, one of the last things I did was a patch for mdk to support Guile
 2. The patch was sent to mdk's author. Still waiting for release.

 I will attach the patch here, it should apply cleanly.
