 dont know if this helps but i have two machines, a mac pro (1+ yr) and
 macbook pro (4+ yr), both with same OS & Xcode versions and clean installs
 of macports.  was able to install opencv on mac pro w/o error, but this
 ticket is for the version on the macbook pro.  let me know if some info
 from the successful install would be useful.
