 This is probably the relevant part of the log:

         :info:configure Unrecognized toolchain 'ppc32-darwin-gcc'
 }}}
 libvpx uses some x86 assembly in it so it makes sense that it would fail
 on ppc. This should probably be marked in the Portfile though.
