 Xcode `Version 4.6 (4H127)`, all tools up to date.

 And yes,  `sudo port -s install root` fails with the same prolbem, so it
 is not the variants.

 Again, the `libXrd*.dylib` are simply not being built. Something changes
 in the configuration process when setting up the build area?
