Comment:

 Yes, mysql5 was already successfully installed before the commands you
 showed us.

 After you install or upgrade any port, MacPorts then checks the linking of
 all ports, and reports any problems; this feature is called "rev-upgrade".
 In this case, no errors were reported ("No broken files found"). Several
 warnings were reported however, of which I don't quite know what to make.
 For any of the files where rev-upgrade said "Error opening or reading
 file" can you identify anything unusual about the file? Can you read it?
 Are its permissions ok?
