 I maintain several ports that depend on gstreamer
 ([source:trunk/dports/science/gstlal/Portfile gstlal],
 [source:trunk/dports/science/gstlal-ugly/Portfile gstlal-ugly], and
 [source:trunk/dports/science/gstlal-inspiral/Portfile gstlal-inspiral]).
 Upstream are working on the transition to `gstreamer-1.0` but it isn't
 their highest priority at the moment. The addition of ports to keep the
 0.10 versions around would be helpful.
