 I hadn't seen this ticket go by. I am sitting on a patch that updates
 clutter and cogl to 1.12.2 and enables gobject-introspection and gtk-doc
 for both of them. Is there a particular reason to stop at clutter 1.8.2?

 If not, I'll bring my patches up to date and open another ticket.
