 Off-topic, but: "oh, great". I have found
 https://github.com/bbannier/ROOT. This might not be the official
 repository (I found it under
 http://root.cern.ch/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5570&start=30), but I
 cannot stand SVN doing a fresh checkout every time I change a few
 characters in the Portfile. I'll upload the CMake-based attempts of the
 port using GitHub if you don't mind.
