 While trying to figure out how to get a more verbose build log, to see
 whether or not "-liconv" was being added in the right place, I realized
 that the cmake portgroup should have already been enabling a verbose build
 by default. That's when I realized that your portfile modifications, which
 are for the first time using the cmake portgroup, overwrite the
 portgroup's configure.args. The build works by changing this to configure
 .args-append. The latest patch attached should be ready to commit.
