 #34656 introdued a change to configure which essentially caused the
 following LDFLAGS to be attempted first:

 {{{
 "-lgssapi -lkrb5 -lcrypto -lasn1 -lroken -lcom_err"
 }}}

 but those fail, and are just jumped over.

 What was the intent of this change?  Should this just be deleted from the
 patch now?
