 I've run into the same problem (Mac OS X 10.6.8). The problem seems to be
 caused by the recent upgrade of graphviz to 2.30.0. This build fails with
 the same error:

 {{{
 $ port installed graphviz
 The following ports are currently installed:
   graphviz @2.30.0_0 (active)
 $ sudo port -vs install ImageMagick +graphviz
 }}}

 This build succeeds:

 {{{
 $ sudo port -vs install ImageMagick
 }}}
