 I don't really have any arguments for either. Personally, I do not mind
 either, but I would think some people would need the 1.8.x series for some
 reason. There are also big changes in 2.x. If anyone is interested, here
 are the "highlights of changes in 2.0.0 (since the 1.8.x release series)"
