 It's an open source project on launchpad so it should not be necessary to
 register. However I don't know which of the many downloads on launchpad we
 would need.

 After registering, I'm simply redirected to
 http://nightly.openerp.com/7.0/nightly/src/openerp-7.0-latest.tar.gz. So
 we don't need to register to get that. However, that's not a suitable
 distfile for MacPorts to use, since it's a "latest" file, which is a
 moving target. I am unable to locate a final 7.0 release distfile. Perhaps
 they're not done developing it yet.

 We could instead port version 6:
 http://nightly.openerp.com/6.0/releases/6.0.4/

 Michael, what problems did you experience trying to install it on your
 Mac?
