 OK, I'm seriously confused!  You said that you can create a recording by
 pressing "R" in the EPG  screen.  That is exactly the same as scheduling a
 recording.

 Could you please provide a backend log over the 5 minutes a scheduled
 recording is supposed to start.  Please, default verbosity and loglevel.
