 This simply will never happen. Apple provides us with no special
 treatment, other than hosting; they will not allow us to bypass the the
 Mac Dev Center. (Note that downloading the Command Line Tools //always//
 requires logging in, either through Xcode or on the website.)

 FYI, these sort of open-ended queries really should go to one of the
 [[MailingLists|mailing lists]], not Trac. You’d get more discussion there
 because more devs subscribe to the lists than monitor the bug tracker.
