 I also made a comparison of the two main.log files – there are no real
 differences, just dates.

 The documentation of libbacktrace states:

 As of September 2012, libbacktrace only supports ELF executables with
 DWARF debugging information.  The library is written to make it
 straightforward to add support for other object file and debugging
 formats.
 }}}

 In Mac OS X DWARF2 is used and ELF executables are not used – what is
 libbacktrace then good for?
