 I tried to upgrade scotch from 5.1.11 to the latest 6.0.0.

 It builds and installs fine with the attached patch for its portfile.

 The only problem I've found so far is a failing test, which is documented
 in issue #39812.

 I am not going to commit the new portfile unless those who are making use
 of the 5.1.11 version give me a clear thumbs up.
