 add a local repository with {{{graphics/wxWidgets-devel}}}:
 {{{
 svn co https://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/trunk/dports/graphics
 /wxWidgets-devel
 }}}
 Apply the patch attached to the ticket #39806 ({{{patch -p0 < wxWidgets-
 devel.2.9.5.patch}}}) and try
 {{{
 sudo port -v install wxWidgets-devel +stdlib
 }}}

 Alternatively you can just as well try
 {{{
 sudo port -v install wxWidgets30 +stdlib
 }}}
 since that port has already been upgraded to 2.9.5.
