 What happens if you do 'echo $DISPLAY' from Terminal?

 What happens if you run 'xterm' from Terminal?

 What is the output of 'sudo launchctl list
 org.macports.privileged_startx'?

 What is the output of 'sudo launchctl list org.macports.startx'?

 What do you see in /var/log/system.log when you try to run X11.app?
