 Just tried installing arm-elf-gdb; it fails to build with the default
 Apple clang 3.2 (for what may be a silly reason, probably fixable with
 some flags). Builds fine with "configure.compiler gcc"... and then runs
 into a conflict with port:binutils over /opt/local/share/info/bfd.info
