 Within QtCreator:

 File > Preferences.

 Select "Help" from list.

 Select "Documentation" tab.

 The Documentation list is empty, so press the "Add..." button.

 Navigate to /opt/local/share/doc/qt4/qch and attempt to add a .qch file.
