 It looks like this code is opensource, and released under BSD.  The
 [http://computation.llnl.gov/casc/sundials/download/sundials_agree.html
 agreement] allows redistribution of the source code.  So, I would think
 that it is possible to put a mirror on macports.
 But, for now, I will see about building a port file, as you suggested.
