 Has there been any progress on this?  I just built a basic port, to
 install SUNDIALS, and then was pointed to this ticket.  It appears that
 this ticket has already solved the problem that I ran into.
 I would also like to suggest the following addition to the portfile:


 {{{
 variant g95 {
     configure.args-append   F77=${prefix}/bin/g95
     depends_lib-append      port:g95
 }
 }}}

 It appears that this port was just never accepted for some reason?
