 Ah, that probably used to be dragged in as a recursive dependency via
 gnutls, which used to have libgcrypt as a dependency, but no longer does

 Also I think the full error message is funny:

 :info:configure configure: error: libgcrypt version 1.1.94 or higher not
 found. Install libgcrypt or use --disable-libgcrypt. Have a nice day.
