 I did not set GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT myself. [[BR]]
 echo $GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT [[BR]]
 returned /System which is what I specified above. [[BR]]

 What's wrong with gcc 4.5.3 in context with Xcode 3.2.6 ? [[BR]]
 The gcc I use by default (/usr/bin/gcc) is not necessarily the one which
 came with XCode (if one does) but one I installed using macports back then
 when it was working.[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 And I unfortunatelly do not have the path[[BR]]
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/base[[BR]]
 but only [[BR]]
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/base[[BR]]
