 Sorry for having overlooked this Ryan.  While it is high time to upgrade
 the GNOME ports to version 3, I feel very strongly that they need to be
 updated as a unit rather than one by one in piecemeal fashion.  I'm in the
 process of putting together a 3.8 version now and plan to make it
 available as an alternate/supplemental ports tree in a separate branch,
 for testing, before committing directly to the live ports tree. If you or
 anyone else would like to help (there's plenty to do) just let me know and
 we can work out a way to collaborate.
