 mk: doesn't the patch I attached solve your problem about openmpif77? If
 not, can you specify what problem you still experience?

 vertreko: Would the +accelerate build work if you deactivate atlas? Are
 you building univeral? Would it work if you subsituted for the configure
 .args-append line:
 {{{
 configure.args-append --with-blas="/usr/lib/libblas.dylib" --with-
 lapack="/usr/lib/liblapack.dylib"
 }}}

 mmoll: The version I mention that we had for 3.1.2 doesn't work anymore
 for 3.1.3 due to apparent bugs in ld and/or libtool. I changed it as a
 workaround. But it may be that the workaround is not successful on MacOS
 10.6.
