 Downgrading tcl/tk ports to 8.5.13 on my system didn't fix the issue and I
 still have the SIGSEGV, unlike reported by
 [https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32983 this Arch ticket] where even 8.5.13
 seems to make XCircuit correctly run.

 I suspect an earlier version of the libraries could help but then there is
 #32329 preventing older tk+quartz due to obsolescence of SDKs.
