 Looking back at the log, it looks like MacPorts is trying to build gettext
 for x86_64 while libiconv is only built for i386 and ppc. Try adding
 x86_64 to your universal_variants in your macports.conf, then rebuilding
 libiconv, and then rebuilding gettext.
