 Is there a reason why the default configuration for GDAL contains
 "--without-grib"?  I tried to edit my own local version of the portfile
 according to http://guide.macports.org/#development.local-repositories but
 couldn't get it to work.  This format is built into GDAL by default and
 has no external dependencies.  I can't think of a downside to enabling it.
 I would be glad to understand what went wrong with my local repository if
 anyone would care to engage with me on that offline.  Thanks.
