Comment:

 Commited in r103947 with the following changes:

  - Added missing pkgconfig build dependency (configure.ac uses it)
  - Enabled verbose mode during build phase (which often makes it easier to
 debug in case of problems)
  - Install bash-completion script in the correct directory
