New description:

 Doing a "port install p5-pdl" on a fresh install of MacPorts 2.1.3 on Mac
 OS X v10.6.8 Snow Leopard fails. This seems not to be a duplicate of the
 PDL-related tickets I've found in the database. I've tried the various

Comment:

 What version of Xcode do you have?

 I wonder if updating the port, as requested in #32031, would help.
