 I just attached a file to this ticket called `Portfile`. Download and save
 it somewhere, and then

 sudo cp -v [path-to-downloaded-Portfile]
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/graphics/vtk5/Portfile
 }}}

 Then
 {{{
 sudo port -dv uninstall vtk5
 sudo port -dv clean vtk5
 sudo port -dv install vtk5 +python27
 }}}

 That should, hopefully do it. '''If this fails''', please

 sudo port -dv clean vtk5
 sudo port -dv install vtk5
 }}}
 and let me know if it works ''without'' the `+python27` variant.
