 According to the guide, there's a `configure.cxx` variable, and a
 `configure.objc` variable, but it doesn't mention anything about a
 `configure.objcxx` variable. It would be useful to have such a variable.
 (If one already exists and I just don't know about it, then the guide
 should document it.)
