 Yes, I think it is. You could try uninstalling all things dependent on ghc
 `sudo port uninstall rdependentof:ghc` (you might want to save a list of
 what you already have `port echo rdependentof:ghc`) and then reinstalling
 the haskell ports from source with the -s flag.
