 Oh, looking at the log, I misunderstood. It installed into
 ${destroot}/destroot/. Trace mode etc. don't and can't catch something
 like this. The mtree check does flag it:

 :warn:destroot violation by /destroot
 :warn:destroot xercesc violates the layout of the ports-filesystems!
 :warn:destroot Please fix or indicate this misbehavior (if it is
 intended), it will be an error in future releases!
