 Vince, I think the configuration problems are fixed. Now  I get fatal
 errors during tuning. I think this is a problem I need to report upstream,
 unrelated to configuration. I've attached the log file so you can look at
 it and see if you agree. I'm trying again to see if the problem is
 repeatable.
