 I didn't think the problem that MacPorts was having was that there were
 too few versions of RPM ?

 Would like some clarity on the future of "port rpm", before adding any
 more ports or confusion...

 And Homebrew has been considering adding it for 2 years now, so they are
 certainly taking their time.

 Meanwhile we have the MacPorts "archives" and the Homebrew "bottles", but
 no packages except for .pkg
