Comment:

 I just added an experimental certsync port; it should be a drop-in
 replacement for curl-ca-bundle:

 {{{
 sudo port -f deactivate curl-ca-bundle
 sudo port install certsync
 }}}

 Bumping over to Ryan to get his input.
