Old description:

New description:

 Install of metis hangs during configuration.  Doing `port -d install
 metis`
 seems to proceed normally but then hangs forever.  The last two lines
 output to Terminal are:

Comment:

 It builds fine for me. You aren't by chance trying to install metis from a
 root shell, are you? If you are, re-try from a regular shell using `sudo`.
 Running MacPorts 2.1.x from root shells is currently problematic on OS X
 10.8.x (#34221).
