 No, not necessarily. I am just pointing out that it is necessary to launch
 dbus daemon and run kbuildsycoca4 to have functional KDE apps, as
 described on the page on the section "Steps required after installation".
 If these steps were not performed, it is expected to have erratic
 behaviours.
