Comment:

 Kile is set to work with Macports latex installation, so that using MacTex
 would require manual configuration. However, Macports should have
 installed its own latex distribution as a dependency of Kile. It however
 installs only the basics, so that if you wish to use other features, you
 would need to install the required package. You can find the available
 packages by running
 {{{
 port search texlive
 }}}
 and install the appropriate one(s). A new ticket should not be created for
 that, as tickets are for bugs, and not for support (thus unless it is
 considered a bug). Support is typically provided through the mailing
 lists.

 Glad the application is working, though, and thanks for reporting it.
