 This is on Mavericks.

 I have indeed been screwing around with the Python symlinks, so I realise
 that's my fault. It just seemed odd that configure would be checking
 `/usr/bin/python` rather than using env - which I assume other packages
 are, as they are installing just fine. I do apologise if this is a non-
 issue.
