 Do you have (or did you have) a full disk?  Do you have hardware issues
 with your disk?  Do you have a corrupt FS?

 I suggest you uninstall the libxcb port, reboot into the restore
 partition, run Disk Utility, and Verify Disk (and likely Repair Disk).
