 compile with installing gcc48 and using configure.compiler=macports-
 gcc-4.8.

 Please do not compile with gcc48; the mixture of libc++ and libstdc++ will
 cause problems. Please file a new ticket about the problem you're
 experiencing so that we can investigate a proper solution. This ticket is
 closed.
