 Also, I am hearing a lot of stuff about the paths being changed in
 Mavericks, and that previous bash profiles (especially $PATH settings)
 aren't being honored. I wonder if this is ALSO part of the problem. None
 of this stuff was happening until Mavericks - the ONLY problem I was
 having before Mavericks was with curl...
