 Whoever does this should definitely try it out on their own systems for a
 few weeks before committing it. boost updates historically have caused
 breakage in ports using boost, so it would be good if one person could
 discover some of those problems already and see if fixes are available or
 report bugs to the respective projects, before it gets committed and
 impacts everyone.
