 I just upgraded to:
 ghc-bootstrap-7.0.4_1+gcc48.darwin_13.x86_64.tbz2

 I have issues with this since i upgraded to mavericks (Ihave the latest
 everything installed with Xcode and CL tools) and the recent fix posted in
 https://trac.macports.org/ticket/40950#comment:41 apparently did not fix
 this.

 I do not dare to re-open that one as I am not sure this is related.

 Thanks for help, maverick is really a pain!
